The Little Guys (and Moms) Are In Trouble...

and not in a fun way :(

In short, the CPSC has passed the Consumer Products Safety Improvement Act which will yes, guarantee safer products for kids (which I obviously whole heartedly agree with!), but they do so in a way that makes it nearly impossible for small businesses to continue providing their amazing products. I don't think I can explain it in a way that does the topic justis, but have found a great post about it on Cool Mom Picks:

http://www.coolmompicks.com/2008/12/save_handmade_toys_in_the_us.php

PLEASE! Read their article and then take just a couple of minutes to copy/paste their letter into a message to your local congressman. I did it, it only took a couple of minutes. If we can get some changes made to the act, SO many people would be appreciative!

Organize! Toy Bags!

Sort, organize, be happy! I don't know about you, but for me: organization = happy. There is something so RIGHT about being in an organized space. I often don't realize that is the case until I hem-n-haw for months about the mess. Then...finally...I organize and am happy at last. Anyway, enough rambling about that...I have found the solution!

Here are some GREAT toy bags that help keep those little pieces together. For between $14-$16 you can organize and be happy :)

You can find these in the Elsie Marley Etsy shop.
